ASSIGNING CANDIDATES
The Board of Awards and the TASAM staff can determine a certain individual or work as candidate. When it is deemed necessary, surveys and recommendations coming from outside TASAM can be effective on developing the candidates list. The Board of Award can take the advice of academic institutions when it is needed. If the Board of Award deems it suitable, chosen representatives can have talks with candidates.
ASSIGNING CONTENTS
The Board of Awards gets together in 9th month per annum and makes an assessment including the topics about the branches and the content of the awards and determines the candidates. The candidate list is announced through Internet and additions can be made in following two months. The award holders who are determined by the Board of Award in the 11th Month is declared in the 12th Month and the awards are submitted them.
ATTRIBUTION OF AWARDS
Every year, the awards are designed as an original object in accordance with the decision of the Board Awards.
PRINCIPLES
TASAM is a research center based on scientific approach that respects all political views and stands in an equidistant position, instead of adopting one political discourse. The awards are given after an assessment which considers whether the works involving “strategic vision” characteristics or not.
According to the decision taken by the Board of Awards every year, one or more individuals can be rewarded in the same category, and in some years, one or more categories may fall out of the arrangement.
In the aim of contributing to our country’s strategic vision and strength, “Strategic Vision Awards” can be given to the individuals coming from allied and friendly countries of Turkey, on the condition of stating the reason.

The Board of Awards has the right to determine the quality, the number, the categories and the topics of the awards.
