Ekrem Dumanlı ( Zaman Newspaper )
He was born in Yozgat in 1964. He finished the department of Turkish Language and Literature of Istanbul University. He started to work as a reporter in the Culture – Art Department of Zaman Newspaper. He later served as the Editor of Culture – Art Department and the General Broadcasting Coordinator in the same newspaper. In 1997 he went to the USA to continue his studies on media and completed his master’s in the Emersson College of Boston. He returned to the country in 2001 and was appointed as the General Broadcasting Manager of Zaman Newspaper. He is still working on this position. He has five published books. His theatre play has been performed by Istanbul World Stage Theatre. Member of the High Commission of Press Council, World Association of Newspapers and Association of Turkish Authors, he is also a congress member of BJK. He can speak English. He is married with two daughters.
