Prof. Dr. Nadir DEVLET ( Istanbul Trade University )
He was born in Manchuria in 1949. He completed his primary, secondary and higher education there. In 1982 he made his first step into the academic world with his doctorate degree in the field of philosophy. He attended the academic stuff of Marmara University, which he was invited in 1984. In 1991 he actively participated in the establishment of the M.U. Institute of Turcology Center and he served as the deputy manager of the institute for 5 years, and the as the manager for the next 5 years. In 1995 he was elected as a member for the Turkish Historical Society for 6 years. Between 2001-2007, he served as the Chairman of the Department of History in the Yeditepe University. He was rewarded the medal “In the Memory of Kazan 1000th anniversary” and service medal by the Presidency of Tatarstan. He is one the most important scientists in our country working on various Turkish communities in Eurasia. He has 21 published books. He is now giving lectures in the Department of International Relations of Istanbul Trade University.
