Zülfü LİVANELİ

He was born in Konya in 1946. He has received many national and international awards. His songs have been voiced by John Baez, Maria Faraondouri and other famous artists. He is one of the Turkey’s most important figures in the areas of culture, art and politics. During his art life, he has produced nearly 300 compositions and 30 movie soundtracks. Furthermore, he has directed 3 movies and written several novels. In 1996, he was honored by UNESCO as honorary ambassador. He also currently writes his articles for Vatan Newspaper.
