Prof. Dr. Günsel Şurdum AVCI

She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1970. She received his internal medicine and cardiology education and the title of Associate Professor at the same university, and the title of Professor from Marmara University in 1990.

In her professional work, she generally aimed to achieve firsts and to be the initiator and implementer of bloodless-non-surgical methods.

After 15 months of training at Hammersmith University in London, she started the first echocardiographic examinations in Istanbul in 1980 at Istanbul University Haseki Institute of Cardiology and became the founder of this method in the universities and private hospitals where she worked for the next 20 years.

In 2001, she became interested in EECP (Natural Bypass) treatment, which is a bloodless and non-surgical treatment for heart disease, and started to practice it in Istanbul after her training at the University of Pittsburg in the USA. She shares the successful results of this treatment with her colleagues at national and international medical congresses and enlightens our people about this bloodless, non-surgical, safe and effective treatment with live TV programs and articles that she frequently attends.
