Dr. Mahfi Eğilmez
He was born in Istanbul. He began his career as a Finance Inspector in the public sector. As a treasury department head, deputy general manager, general manager, after serving as undersecretary at all levels of government, he left the public sector. He was the president and board member of various financial institutions in the private sector. He wrote in the Yeni Yüzyıl Magazine and the Daily Radikal and also columns for CNB of Business magazine.
He currently is lecturing at Kadir Has University, commenting on the economy in NTV, writing about the economics, philosophy, politics, history, literature, articles. In addition to these special interest areas, he is doing research on the history of the Hittites, and also he is publishing books and articles.
