Celal UZUNKAYA ( Turkish General Directorate of Security )
Celal Uzunkaya was born in 1958 in Samsun. After completing his primary and secondary education in the same province, he finished the Police College in 1975 and he graduated ranking first in the Police Academy in 1978. On June 30, 2001, he was promoted to the First Class Police Department, where he held the position of APK Expertise and Chief Inspectorate. He worked in Balıkesir Provincial Security Directorate between 2003-2007 and having finished this duty, he worked as Deputy General Director of Security between 2007 and 2010. He was appointed as Izmir Police Chief by the decree dated 12.02.2014.Celal Uzunkaya, who was appointed as the Chief of Police in Antalya on 26 November 2016, has a good command of German. Uzunkaya, who was appointed to the General Directorate of Security on 25 July, is married and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
