Ahmed RIZA Bey ( Turkish Politician (1858-1930 Deceased), Turkey )
A politician, thinker, writer (Birth 1859, Istanbul – R.I.P. 26 February 1930, Istanbul, he was son of Ali Bey who known as British Ali, because he was closely interested in the British. His mother was an Austrian lady. After receiving a European education from his family, he graduated from Galatasaray Sultanisi (High School).
He worked at the Babiali Translation Chamber for a while. He then went to France and graduated from the Grignon School of Agriculture in 1884. Upon his return to homeland, he first served in agriculture, then in the Ministry of Education. In the meantime, he became a member of the Committee of Union Ilttihad-I Osmani (later on it took name of Ittihad and Terraki Society) which was secretly founded by medical students such as Ibrahim Temo, Abdullah Cevdet.
