Prof. Dr. Kamal Mohammad Obeid ( Rector of the International African University )
Dr. Kamal Mohammad Obeid was born in 1953 in Sudan. He graduated from University of Cairo Department of Economics in 1978, then in 1979, he got his second cycle degree from Islam University Department of Islam Economy. He performed a duty in Sudan Ministry of Labor between 1979-1982. He worked for African Islamic Center as Director of Defense. Between 2000-2007, he performed as dean in various departments of International University of Africa. Carried out Minister of Information in 2009-2011 as well, Dr. Obeid is now still Rector of International University of Africa.
