Muammer EROL ( Governor of Konya )
He was born in 1962, in Bünyan, Kayseri. He graduated from Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 1984. From 1984 to 1995, respectively, he had worked as deputy district governor of Saray, Tekirdağ; district governor of Kemer, Burdur and Bulanık, Muş; deputy governor of Muş and district governor of Göynük, Bolu. He became Civil Inspector in 1995; he was employed in Ankara Group of Presidency of Committee of Inspection at Ministry of Interior. He spent 6 months in USA for language training and informatics education. He worked as Administrative Deputy Secretary General at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and later as governor of Elazığ. In 2013, he was appointed as governor of Kayseri. He speaks English. He is married with three children.
