Şefika KUTLUER ( Flute Soloist )
She was born in Ankara. She graduated from Ankara State Conservatory in 1979. She continued her education in Vienna, Rome and S. Cecilia Academy. She taught at Ankara State Conservatory. She was the winner at the International Flute Competition in Vienna. She was awarded Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards in 1995. In 1998 she received the “National Artist” title. She was awarded Hungarian Foundation for Performing Arts “Inter-Lyra” in 2000. She got Italian State Medal “,”Austrian Gold Medal of Merit” by the President of Austria and the Cultural Medal of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2012, she has been appointed as the “Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF”’. She was awarded “Golden CD Prize” with Carmen Fantasy CD. She also received “Golden Gallo CD Collection”. She gave countless concerts across the five continents and attended international music festivals.
She played in many TV and radio programs in various countries with her name Magic Flute”, given by the New York Times critics. She is the flute soloist in Izmir State Symphony Orchestra. European Union Chamber Orchestra has announced her as a permanent soloist.
