Dr. İsmail KARA ( Marmara University )
Department of Islamic Philosophy. Born in Rize Güneyce in 1955, Professor Ismail Kara graduated from Istanbul Vocational Religious School and Rize High School. Later, Professor Kara graduated from Istanbul High Islamic Institute in 1977, and department of History at Faculty of Art in Istanbul University in 1986. Kara has worked as a contracted instructor at Saint e Pulcherie French Girls Secondary School during 1980 and 1995.
He completed his Masters degree at Institute of Social Science at Istanbul University in 1987. He finished his PhD thesis titled as “Constitutional Administration according to Islamists (1908-1014)” in the faculty in 1993. Professor Kara was appointed as an instructor at the Department of Islamic Philosophy at Marmara University in 1995. He became Associate Professor in 2000 and professor in 2006 in the same faculty. Today, Kara continues his studies as Professor at Department of Islamic Philosophy.
