Muhsin YAZICIOĞLU

He was born in Sivas in 1954 and completed his university education at Ankara University. He founded Ülkücü Gençlik Derneği (Association of the Idealist Young) in 1978 and had been Counselor of President of MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) until military cope of 1980. In 1987, he participated to MÇP (Nationalist Working Party) and served as Vice General Secretary in this party. Yazıcıoğlu who was elected deputy from Sivas in 1991 founded Great Union Party and became President of the party in 1993. He was again elected Sivas Deputy in the 1995 and 1997 parliamentary elections. Until his death in a helicopter accident on 25 March 2009, Yazıcıoğlu had greatly served country and nation during his political life.
