Meral Akşener

Meral AKŞENER ( Vice Chairman of TBMM, MHP İstanbul Deputy )

She was born in İzmit in 1956. She graduated from Department of History at Istanbul University and completed her postgraduate education at Marmara University Social Sciences Institution. She worked as faculty member at Universities of Yıldız, Kocaeli and Marmara, and founded “Zübeyda Hanım Foundation for Families of Martyrs”. Akşener who served as Istanbul Deputy in 20^th Period, Kocaeli Deputy in 21^st Period and Minister of Internal Affairs in 54^th Government is currently Istanbul Deputy from MHP list and Vice Chairman of TBMM (The Grand National Assembly of Turkey)
