ÖSYM(Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi)

ÖSYM was founded in 1974 under name of “Interuniversities Center for Selection and Placement of Student” and its name was changed as “Center for Selection and Placement of Student” in 1981. Major mission of ÖSYM is to organize examinations according to principles determined by Higher Education Council in order to recruiting students for high education, to placing students on high education institutions and conduct researches and other services about this activity. With its successful studies on this area, ÖSYM has made great contributions to development of academic structure in Turkey.
