TMSF ( Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Turkey )

The Fund is one of the most important institutions that maintain security and stability of the financial system in Turkey. Its main function is to save the rights of the savers and to clear up the banks and assets that it has taken over.  Its successful works have positive effects on the national economy. TMSF has transferred resources to the treasury, so that borrowing needs of the treasury has been diminished. Also, the fund has helped to decrease budget deficit problem through giving payments to the Ministry of Finance.
