THY ( Turkish Airlines )

Turkish Airlines was established in 1933, as the State Airlines Administration. The airline was reorganized in 1956 and operated under a special legislation and renamed as Turkish Airlines Corporation. THY, first international flight of which was to the Athens, now has a flight network ranging from Europe, Middle East, Far East to the North Africa, South Africa and America. Being one of the most modern and developed airlines of the world, THY is Turkey’s gate to the World and it’s one of the best representatives. THY has contributed a great deal on the development and the advertisement of our country. Furthermore, it has turned Istanbul into one of the most important flight centers of the World.
