RTÜK ( Radio and Television Supreme Council of Turkey )

RTÜK including 12 members was established in 1983 in order to regulate the radio and television broadcasting. With aim of self controlling in the radio and TV stations and improving the quality of broadcast, it enables forwarding the audience’s opinions to the stations regularly. In this context, it can be possible to creat interaction between Radio – TV stations and audiences and to improve quality of broadcasting. Also, the council contributes to development of Turkish media culture through organizing education activities for radio and TV directors and staff.
