Prof. Dr. Recep AKDAĞ ( Minister of Health of Turkey )

He was born in Erzurum in 1960. He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Atatürk University in 1984 and has obtained Medical Doctor title. In 1990, he worked in the Medical Faculty of the Atatürk University and “King’s College School of Medicine” in London. He became Assistant Professor in 1992, assumed the title of Associate Professor in 1994 and the title of Professor in 1999. He has about 100 scientific articles and announcements. He has been serving as deputy of Erzurum of the Justice and Development Party since 2002. Prof. Dr. Akdağ still carries out the post of Minister of Health of the Republic of Turkey.
