Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said YAZICIOĞLU ( Turkish State Minister )
He was born in Trabzon in 1949. He finished the Faculty of Theology of Ankara University. He completed his doctorate in France. He first started his professional life as an assistant in the Faculty of Theology of Ankara University. Then he became Associate Professor in 1983, and assumed the title of Professor in 1988 at the same university. He served as the Director of Religious Affairs, and later as the Dean of the Faculty of Theology in Ankara University. He was appointed as a member in the Council of Higher Education and Administrative Board of Turkish National Commission for UNESCO. He was the Head of the Turkish Group in the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Conference (PUICO). He carried out the post of Minister of State in the 60th government period. He has a full command of French and intermediate command of Arabic. He is married with two children.
