Prof. Dr. Kenan GÜRSOY

Prof. Dr. Kenan GÜRSOY ( Galatasaray University )

He was born in Ankara in 1950. He completed his high education in the University of Rennes and the University of Sorbonne in France. After his graduation, he joined  Atatürk University as an assistant in the Department of Philosophy. He, in turn, obtained the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in  Systematic Philosophy-Logic. He started to work as Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Letters at Ankara University. He became a Professor in 1989 at the same university and he served as the Head of the Department of Philosophy from 1994 to 2000. He has been serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Letters of Galatasaray University since 2000. He has also been presenting a TV programme, named as ”Düşünce İklimi”, at the TRT 2 Channel since the October of 2005.
