Oğuz Kaan KÖKSAL ( Security General Director )

He was born in Kırıkkale in 1948. He finished the Department of Finance and Economy of the Ankara University. He served as an established officer in the Prefectures of Kastamonu-Bozkurt and Mardin-Cizre. He worked as the Deputy Governor of Gaziantep for 3 and a half years. He was appointed as the Governor of Tekirdağ in 1988. He was appointed to the Governorship of Malatya in 1990, to the Governorship of Denizli in 1992, to the Governorship of Adana in 1996 and to the Governorship of Bursa in 2003. During his period in the Governorship of Bursa, he was chosen as the “Governor of the Year” for two times, mainly because of the social projects that he has carried out. He was appointed to the Governorship of Izmir in 2005 and lastly to the Security General Directorate in 2007. He still carries out the post of Security General Director. He is married with 2 children.
