Nilgün CERRAHOĞLU

She was born in İstanbul. She graduated from Department of Economics at Middle East Technical University in 1975, Department of International Relations at Johns Hopkins University, Italy in 1976 and assumed the degree of master in economics at Johns Hopkins University, USA in 1978. She worked in Cumhuriyet Newspaper as press correspondent between 1982 and 1992. Afterwards, she worked in the newspapers of Sabah and Milliyet, Aktüel Magazine, TRT and Haber Türk. Şhe has articles published in foreign newspapers such as L’Espresso (Italy) and El Pais (Spain). Currently, she works in Cumhuriyet Newspaper as newspaper columnist.
