Kadir Has, one of the leading philanthropic businessmen raised by the Republic of Turkey, was born in Kayseri in 1921. His father is Nuri Bey, who is a philanthropic businessman like him, and his mother is Zekiye Hanım. His father, Nuri Has, was one of the country’s leading respected businessmen, famous for his hard work and honesty, with many factories and commercial establishments he established in Adana. He was one of the founders of Akbank, one of the important brands of the Turkish banking sector.
