Efkan ALA
Born in Erzurum in 1965, Efkan Ala graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Political Sciences in 1987. He has a master’s degree in economics. He spent a year in the UK to study language education and management. Respectively Trabzon Dernekpazarı District Governor, Ordu Kabataş Education Department Directorate, Department of Provincial Administration, General Manager at the Ministry of Tourism, he was a member of the World Tourism Organization (Quality Promotion Commitee) and worked with UNICEF to meet basic needs in Turkey, from 2003 to 2004, he served as Governor of Batman. On September 14, 2004, he started his term as Governor of Diyarbakır and is currently the Governor of Diyarbakır.
