Ahmet Nazif ZORLU ( Chairman of Zorlu Holding )
He was born in 1944 in Denizli. Early 1960s, with establishing the first textile shop in Trabzon, he laid the foundation of Zorlu Company. Then, he established a textile factory in Bursa and a furnishing factory in Corlu. Also, with buying Vestel Company in 1990s, he entered to the electronic sector. He has made great contribution to the development of Turkish economy as the founder and chairman of a giant foundation, which currently exports its products to 110 countries and operates in the sectors of electronic, energy, finance, assurance, real-estate and tourism with near 50 companies.
