Abdülkadir KONUKOĞLU ( Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanko Holding )
He was born in Gaziantep in 1948. He became the general director of Sanko Enterprises in 1974. Today the SANKO Holding under his management is a giant establishment which cooperates with many different countries across the world. The Holding operates in the sectors of textile, package, construction, construction equipments, information-communication, heating-cooling, finance, education, energy, white goods, food and health, and provides employment for approximately 14 thousand of people around Turkey. He is now carrying out the posts of Speaker of Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Member of High Coordination Council of TOBB, Member of Industry Council of TOBB and Chairman of the Textile Sector Council of TOBB. He has been given the “Award for Outstanding Service” by the Presidency of TGNA and “Honorary Doctorate” by the Gaziantep University. He is married and has 3 children.
