Abdoulaye WADE ( President of Senegal )

He was born in Kébémer, Senegal in 1926. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Paris and assumed two doctorate degrees in law and economics at Grenoble University in France. He served as dean of the Law and Economics Faculty at the University of Dakar in Senegal. He founded Senegalese Democratic Party in 1974 and was elected to the National Assembly, where he served until 1980. He carried out the post of Minister of State between 1991 and 1992, 1995 and 1998. He became President of Senegal in 2000. He was reelected in the February 2007 presidential elections
