He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ankara University. He completed his Master\u2019s degree on Public Administration in the Public Administration Institute for Turkey &amp; the Middle East. He began his professional life by working at different levels as a manager in the General Directorate of Data Processing of the Ministry of National Education. Between 1991 \u2013 1994 he worked as a legal practitioner, registered to the Ankara Bar Association.\u00a0 He served as the Director of Council and the Director of the Department of Real Estate &amp; Expropriation in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. In 2000, he was appointed as the 1. Legal Advisor of Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI). In 2003, he was appointed as the Foundations General Director and the Chairman of the Board of Turkey Vak\u0131flar Bank. He is still working on this position.
