He is former Tarsus Mayor and now, he is the Mayor of Mersin with the president of Central Union of Municipalities of \u00c7ukurova. He graduated from Gazi University as a chemical teacher. Mr. Kocaman is married and the father of three children.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>He was elected from Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) as a Mayor in 2014 Turkey local election.
