Afterwards he graduated from National Academy for Security. From 1986 on, he has held the several public administrative posts in numerous cities Erzincan and Sakarya, He worked at the Turkish Ministry of Interior as counselor and department head as well as director of Security Affairs in Prime Ministry. Kavakl\u0131o\u011flu has been elected as member of National Assembly in 24.,25., 26. terms. Kavakl\u0131o\u011flu currently serves as Union of Parliament board member, member of planning and budgetary commission, Ak Party Secretary.
