He had enrolled to the Faculty of Economics at Ankara Academy of Economics and Commerce in 1974. He had received his bachelor\u2019s degree from University of Texas A&amp;M. In 1979, he had started to work as a journalist at TRT Presidency of News Department. He had reported news from Gulf War and Civil War in Yugoslavia. From 1991 to 2000 he had worked as a journalist, editor and news presenter at Show TV, Channel 6 and ATV. After 2000, he has worked as news manager at NTV and presented various news shows. Between 2003 and 2010, he had presented a show called \u201cAnd people\u201d where he had commented on various news photographs under the title \u201cThat moment\u201d. He had published two books and both of them are called \u201cThat moment\u201d. He is still working for NTV as editor, new presenter and moderator. He was awarded by Turkish Journalists\u2019 Association, Progressive Journalists\u2019 Association and Radio Television Journalists\u2019 Association at various times. He was selected by Turkish Language Association and Radio and Television Supreme Council as \u201cThe newscaster speaks Turkish in the most fluent way\u201d two times, in 2005 and 2009. Since 2007, he has been working as an academic in Istanbul Commerce University and giving lectures called \u201cRadio and TV Journalism\u201d and \u201cTV Journalism in Globalization\u201d. He is also giving lectures and speaking at various conferences about TV journalism.
