Feyyaz Berker and Necati Ak\u00e7a Filar, in the middle 1950s he developed Tekfen, one of Turkey\u2018s leading construction companies.<\/p>\n<p>He also extended the private sector through international associations, becoming co-chair of the Turkish-Soviet Business Council, which refocused on the CIS after the Soviet Union\u2018s end. In addition, he has represented the Turkish private sector in the Black Sea Economic Co-operation Business Council. Mr. G\u00f6kyi\u011fit received Environmental Service Award from Akdeniz University and has been given a title of honorary PhD from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University, \u00c7ukuorova University and Gazi Osman Pa\u015fa University. Received a \u201cState Meritorious Service Medal\u201d from The Presidency of the Republic of Turkey\u201d in 2010, A.
