She studied art history at Istanbul University and history of philosophy in England. In 1997, she started working at the National Palaces as an art historian, and in the same year, she began to work with Recep G\u00fcrgen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Recep G\u00fcrgen is a master of clock-repair and has been worked on over 30.000 clocks during the past 40 years. He started his career when he was 12 years old working beside his uncle. When he was 18 years old, he met the famous clockmaker, Wolfgang Mayer and worked with him until 1975. After Mayer retired, G\u00fcrgen opened his own workshop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcrb\u00fcz has been working with G\u00fcrgen for ten years and learned lots of things. They both have been repairing many clocks in the National Palaces, mostly in the Dolmabah\u00e7e Palace, and in several museums.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u015eule G\u00fcrb\u00fcz was born in Istanbul.
