He was graduated from Konya Sel\u00e7uk University. He studied Business Administration at Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl University. He served as teacher and executive in \u015eanl\u0131urfa. In 1985, he began his business life. He was elected as Mayor of \u00c7umra Municipality in 1994. He was elected as Chairman of executive board of Konya \u015eeker and Konya Pancar Ekicileri Cooperative in 1999 and Pankobirlik in 2000. He activated capitals and many facilities in Konya \u015eeker. He realized model projects in agricultural sector. He enabled the production of innovative products such as liquid sugar, bioethanol and biogas. After starting the most assertive plantation campaign He aimed to plant saplings as many as the population. He was granted many awards, plaquet and medal such as \u201cEntrepreneur of the Year\u201d, \u201cConsumer Friendly\u201d, \u201cInnovative of the Year\u201d, \u201cEnvironmentalist of the Year\u201d.\u00a0 In 2009, he was given honorary doctorate by Sel\u00e7uk University.
