After he graduated from Galatasaray Lisesi he went to England and studied at City College of Business in London. He started his career in Ko\u00e7 Group in 1961. He was assigned to General Directorate of Otoyol in 1966. He became the general director of TOFA\u015e in 1970. He was firstly assigned as deputy vice president of Ko\u00e7 Holding for TOFA\u015e then president of automotive group. K\u0131ra\u00e7 who was Ko\u00e7 Holding\u2019s chief executive officer (CEO) in 1994, retired in 1988.\u00a0 K\u0131ra\u00e7 is also president and member of many organizations and foundations. He was awarded Legion d&#8217;honneur badge\u2019s rank of &#8220;Officer&#8221;\u00a0 by State Minister of France in 1997 for serves as the founder and president of Galatasaray Educational Foundation and role in foundation of Galatasaray University and Turkish-French relations. He founded research institute on Mediterranean Civilizations Antalya Kalei\u00e7i Museum in 2000. In 2003 he opened Pera Museum by Suna and \u0130nan K\u0131ra\u00e7 Foundation which he has founded with his wife and Istanbul Research Institute in 2007.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Born in 1937, Eski\u015fehir.
