He was graduated from Kahramanmara\u015f \u0130mam Hatip Lisesi in 1965. He was graduated from Istanbul High Islamic Institution in 1972 and Philosophy Department at Faculty of Literature in 1977. He completed his PhD at the same faculty with the thesis \u201c\u0130sl\u00e2m Kaynaklar\u0131 I\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda Pythogoras ve Pre-Sokratik Filozoflar\u201d in 1980.\u00a0 After the High Islamic Institution had turned into a faculty he was appointed as assistant professor at Directory of Kelam-Phylosophy Department in 1983. He made scientific researches in Paris between 1985 &#8211; 1986. He became associated professor in 1987 and professor in 1993. He was assigned as advisor to the Prime Minister in 2009.
