He finished his license in 1967 at Kabil University, Faculty of Education. He completed his post graduate at Hawaii University, his master and doctor\u2019s degree at Washington University in anthropology field. He made anthropologic studies in Wakhan district which is between pastoral nomad Kirghiz and Wakhi community. He became the consultant of \u201cThe Kirghiz of Afghanistan\u201d named ethnographic movie. He worked with Nevada University, Stanford University and UCLA. He made field researches on Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan and Uzbekistan. He has been a lecturer at Indiana University Departments of Anthropology, Middle Eurasia Studies, Near East Languages and Cultures since 1990.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He was born in Afghanistan- Bedeh\u015fan.
