She graduated from Department of History at Istanbul University and completed her postgraduate education at Marmara University Social Sciences Institution. She worked as faculty member at Universities of Y\u0131ld\u0131z, Kocaeli and Marmara, and founded \u201cZ\u00fcbeyda Han\u0131m Foundation for Families of Martyrs\u201d. Ak\u015fener who served as Istanbul Deputy in 20<sup>th<\/sup> Period, Kocaeli Deputy in 21<sup>st<\/sup> Period and Minister of Internal Affairs in 54<sup>th<\/sup> Government is currently Istanbul Deputy from MHP list and Vice Chairman of TBMM (The Grand National Assembly of Turkey)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She was born in \u0130zmit in 1956.
