In 1971, he started to work in \u0130stanbul City Public Libreray and then worked as Deputy General Manager in Head Office of Prim Ministry State Archives. G\u00fcltepe, who dedicated his life to archive researches, has many articles and researches that have been published in diverse in periodicals and written many books: Ebu-suud, Kemalpa\u015fazade, Ahmet Cevdet Pa\u015fa, Mimar Sinan&#8217;\u0131n T\u00fcrkl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne Dair and Turanc\u0131l\u0131k Tarihi&#8217;nin Kaynaklar\u0131.
