He has created many successful works on Turkish Art Music and Turkish Tasavvuf (Sufi) Music. He is founder and general director of the Ministry of Culture \u0130stanbul Historical Music Ensemble that was founded in 1991 with aim of presenting the original style and performance characteristics of the Turkish Tasavvuf (Sufi) Music and Turkish Mehter (Military) Music.
