She also produced documentaries and news analysis for \u00a0national TV channels , Kanal D,\u00a0 CNN Turk and TRT. Turkish Journalists Association has awarded her as \u201cThe Journalist of the Year\u201d between 1986 and 1989. In 1994, she was awarded as the \u201cAnchorperson of the Year\u201c. Between 1995 and 2005 she served as the Bureau Chief of H\u00fcrriyet Newspaper and CNN Turk TV in Greece. In 2004 she was awarded with the\u00a0 \u201cInternational Peace and Friendship Award\u201d. Between 2005-2007 she worked as the Bureau Chief of H\u00fcrriyet Newspaper in Ankara. She has two published books, named \u201cTroubled Years ..Greece-Turkey\u201d and \u201cBenazir\u201d. She wrote her last book, the biography of Rauf Denktas Turkish Cypriot Leader a short time ago.
