He graduated from Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University in 1984. He started to work as a public administration chief. He has worked as a vice governor in Aksu, Hem\u015fin and Ye\u015filyurt. Afterwards, he was appointed as Interior Ministry Civil Inspector, Coordinator of Human Rights Supreme Council Secretariat in the Prime Ministry Undersecretary and Interior Ministry Secretary General. In 2001, he was appointed as Mu\u011fla Governor.
