Kadir Inanır studied the primary and middle school in Fatsa and high school in Haydarpaşa High School in Istanbul as a boarding student. He has graduated from Marmara University Communication Faculty Radio-Television department. He was the one of the finalists of the Actor of Cinema Competition organized by Ses Magazine and one year later, he was the winner of the Actor of Photo Romance Competition organized by Saklambaç Newspaper in 1968.

After playing Photo Romance Movies for a while, he has started his cinema life in 1968 with the small role from the movie titled “ Yedi Adım Sonra”, first time of his life, Mr. İnanır played  head role with Türkan Şoray in the movie titled as “Kara Gözlüm” directed by Atıf Yılmaz in 1970. After then, he had been playing a head role with Turkan Şoray in many movies; therefore he found a place among the movie stars of Turkey. By now, he took role in 182 cinema movies and 7 television series. His hobbies besides cinema are sociology, economy and politics.
