AKUT ( Search and Rescue Foundation )

cAfter the 1999 Gölcük Earthquake, Turkey exactly acquainted with AKUT. The Foundation has become the member of INSARAG, International Search and Rescue Organization of U.N. In 2011, AKUT assumed the title of “Mid-sized Search and Rescue Team” after passing the exam under control of INSARAG observer. AKUT, member of the International Rescue Dog Organization (IRO) worked in the disasters in Greece, Taiwan, Mozambican, India, Iran, Pakistan, Haiti and Japan. The Foundation works with principle of volunteering and   Nasuh Mahruki has been serving as founding chairman of board of directors.
